Materials and Construction
Built-ins use the same construction as our cabinets. Furniture-grade plywood carcases for strength and stability, solid hardwood face frames, and drawers with dovetail joinery and soft-close slides where drawers are part of the design.
You choose the look. Painted built-ins in poplar or a paint-grade hardwood for a clean, classic feel. Stained alder, maple, hickory, or walnut when you want the wood grain to show. Open shelving, glass doors, closed cabinets, or a mix, planned to suit the room and how it will be used.
We finish in the shop for a smooth, even result, then install and scribe the piece tight to the walls so there are no gaps. The goal is always the same. It should look like the builder framed the house around it.

We visit the space, take careful measurements, and design the piece around your needs and the room's quirks. You approve the layout, wood, and finish, and get a firm quote before we build.
